In high school, Clark County School District students have the opportunity to study a variety of scientific disciplines. Students can also choose to take Honors or Advanced Placement science courses. Each student must take at least two science courses; those planning for college need to include a laboratory class.
Program Outcomes
Each CCSD science course has a specific scope and series of goals. These are provided to parents at the beginning of the school year. Parents are encouraged to carefully review and discuss these course descriptions, as well as homework requirements and testing plans. (Please see the Curriculum Overview for details.)
