Professional Development

Goals:

• Increase the number of reading/language arts professional development opportunities for K-5 teachers.
• Provide K-5 teachers research-based instructional strategies in the areas of  phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing.
• Enhance teacher knowledge in the use of various literacy assessments and data analysis to inform instructional decisions.
