Important Questions to ask an Admissions Counselor

• How can I get a brochure and information on my intended major or field of study?
• What is the average class size?
• What types of student housing are available?
• Who do I talk to about financial aid programs?
• When is the admission application deadline?
• How can I find out about activities or sports that interest me?
• What degrees or certificates are offered?
• What if I decide to transfer?
• How would I arrange a visit to the campus?

TIP: Review the list of colleges and technical schools that will be attending the College Fair Plus. Do some preliminary research about the schools so that you know which ones are of special interest to you. Having some knowledge about the schools before you attend will prepare you to ask more productive questions and will make your exploration more beneficial. Fill out your inquiry cards before you leave for the fair so your time there will be spent asking questions, not filling out cards.
