Substitute Application process
Individuals interested in applying to be a Substitute Teacher or a Support Staff Substitute must first complete an interest form. Once the interest form is submitted, a password will be assigned to the applicant via email. The password is required to access the online application. Once the completed online application is submitted, applicants are able to track their application status.
Coach applicants are not required to complete an interest form. The online application is immediately available for completing and submitting to Substitute Services.
Former CCSD teachers and administrators who have retired/separated from the District within the last three years do not need to complete an interest form. Instead, a shortened application is available. If a former teacher and/or administrator have been separated for more than three years, he/she must complete and submit both an interest form and the full online application.
Current CCSD Teachers who wish to substitute during track breaks or the summer may apply online by completing a verification of employment application.
