TUBERCULOSIS TEST

Both the Clark County School District and the Nevada State Department of Education require submission of evidence of freedom from TB (chest X-ray or TB skin test) before a contract is valid or license can be issued. ONLY results of a mantoux skin test (intradermal PPD) or chest X-ray taken within 12 months of the date of your “offer of employment” and/or submission of licensure application will be accepted.

FINGERPRINTING

In accordance with Nevada law and Clark County School District regulations, all new employees must be fingerprinted. As indicated in the “offer of employment”, there will be a one-time deduction from your first paycheck for the processing fee charged by the FBI to obtain final clearance of your fingerprint records. This is not the fee that is charged by CCSD School Police for the actual “rolling” of your fingerprints.

If you are attempting to license in Nevada for the first time, the Nevada State Department of Education will also require you to be fingerprinted.
