The following online databases are funded by the State of Nevada and the Curriculum and Professional Development Division of the Clark County School District. See your school librarian for guidance and access codes.

Nevada Career Information System
               
The NCIS is a computer-based system that combines a wealth of career, education and labor market information into one comprehensive, easy-to-use career exploration tool.

CultureGrams

The aim of CultureGrams has been to foster understanding and appreciation of the world's countries and peoples by creating and publishing excellent content. CultureGrams is a widely used cultural reference and curriculum product.

EBSCO HostMagazines
               
EBSCO provides access to newspaper, magazines, and professional periodicals, as well as a wealth of other online resources, through access to databases for all levels of students. There are also professional resources for educators.

Gale Databases
               
Gale's databases include General Reference Center Gold, Informe, InfoTrac Junior, InfoTrac Student, Educator's Reference Complete, Discovering Collection, Junior Reference Collection, Student Resource Center Gold, What Do I Read Next?, and Science Resource Center. Depending on your school, you may also see Opposing Viewpoints and LitFinder. These databases provide a wealth of resources across all levels and curriculum.

Grolier’s Encyclopedias

Grolier Online includes six encyclopedia databases: Encyclopedia Americana, Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia, The New Book of Knowledge, La Nueva Enciclopedia Cumbre, America the Beautiful, and Lands and Peoples.
