Summer preparations

Summer is around the corner and I know our students are as anxious as our school staff to hear the bell ring on the last day. On everyone’s mind is an opportunity to sleep in, hang out with friends, cool down at the pool and get some much needed rest and relaxation. June 1 is the last day of school for most of our students, but we still have 22 elementary schools that are on a 12-month calendar.

As much as I want to encourage everyone to have fun and use this opportunity to refresh, I also want to remind everyone that this is a time...
